A Single Chamber device utilizes one lead (wire) that is typically positioned in the right ventricle (the lower chamber) or, less commonly, the right atrium. We provide both MRI-Compatible models—which allow you to safely undergo future MRI scans using a specialized "MRI mode"—and MRI Non-Compatible models, depending on your specific clinical needs and history. Ensure Clinical Readiness through Rigorous Screening: To ensure your body is prepared for the minor surgical pocket creation and to rule out underlying infections, we require a full medical history, diagnostic X-rays (specifically a chest X-ray to evaluate the heart-lung baseline and post-op lead position), and comprehensive blood tests (including coagulation profiles to prevent hematoma at the site, electrolytes, and inflammatory markers). A Focused Recovery and Stabilization Window: While the procedure is minimally invasive, the lead requires time to "scar" into place to prevent displacement (dislodgement).
